“FRENCH EXCELLENCE” : Fine Wines & Delicacies pairing Workshop

In our workshop located right in the heart of Bordeaux, come and enjoy a unique moment of exceptional food & wine pairing tasting, combining fine Bordeaux wines with iconic delicacies of French excellence!

During this workshop, you will taste and pair  5 Fine Bordeaux wines (including 3 Classified Growths and  old vintages) with :

• Caviar,

• Sturgeon with caviar rillettes toasts,

• Artisanal foie gras,

• Artisanal dried duck magret,

• Cheese,

• “Bean to Bar” chocolate made in Bordeaux

After a brief introduction to Bordeaux wines and terroirs, and reminder about the steps of wine tasting, our sommelier will introduce you to the 3 main principles for successful food and wine pairings.

Then you will quickly move from theory to practice!!!

Each pairing will be an opportunity to talk about the tasted products, their history, and the reasons why we propose each combination. We have specially selected products and producers of excellence, artisanal, local, and great wines for interesting pairings.

Let yourself be surprised by some unexpected pairings, by the alchemy that can occur between food and wine. Because beyond the general principles, a good pairing involves a touch of curiosity, even audacity, and should enhance each element individually while creating harmony.

This participative workshop will allow you to interact, ask your questions, and share your experience in a friendly and free manner.

Please note: The delicacies* you will taste during this workshop have been carefully selected to best match each wine, and no substitutions can be made.

You need to be over 18 to attend this worshop.
