What to expect from our outdoor escape room and guided wine tasting combo

Olala Bordeaux and Code Case Bordeaux have joined forces to offer the perfect, fun activity combo: an outdoor escape room and a guided Bordeaux wine tasting session. This is your chance to learn more about the history of the city of Bordeaux and the famous painter who once lived there (spoiler alert: it’s Goya!).

Outdoor escape game in Bordeaux

Your mission, should you choose to accept it, is to find Goya’s skull by unravelling a series of outdoor clues. The start point for the game is place du Chapelet, in Bordeaux city center, a stone’s throw away from Olala Bordeaux. A member of Code Case will await you with a locked briefcase, a backpack and a folding table. You will have approximately 1 hour 30 minutes to solve the mystery. This is your chance to soak up Bordeaux’s charming Golden Triangle district. Good luck!

Guided Bordeaux wine tasting workshop

In addition to the outdoor escape game, you’ll enjoy a guided wine tasting workshop at either 2:30 pm or 4:30 pm in the Olala Bordeaux tasting room, also in the center of Bordeaux. In this introduction to Bordeaux wines, an expert sommelier will explain how to taste wine and the main rules for pairing it with food. Expect an informal, fun session where you’ll be trying 3 Bordeaux wines, paired with local delicacies. It makes for friendly, laid-back experience, whatever your level of wine knowledge.
